About SibsForever
A community born from love, loss, and the enduring bonds between siblings
Our Founder's Story
SibsForever was born from the intersection of two devastating losses, separated by more than 50 years.
In 1967, when Audree was just 12 years old, her 14-year-old sister Robin passed away unexpectedly. The experience of losing a sibling at such a young age profoundly shaped her understanding of grief and the unique challenges surviving siblings face.
Decades later, on November 26, 2019, tragedy struck again when Audree's 10-year-old grandson Hayden was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor. Hayden was a twinβhis sister Brenna, older by just five minutes, would soon face the unimaginable reality of losing her closest companion.
As Hayden's condition deteriorated over the following months, Audree knew firsthand what lay ahead for Brenna: the difficult journey of navigating life as an only child, without her sibling. Before Hayden's death on August 18, 2020, Audree made a decision that would honor his memory while helping other surviving siblings.
SibsForever.org was conceived in that space between love and lossβa place where siblings like Brenna, like Audree, and like you can find community, share memories, and know that they are not alone in their journey.
"Death doesn't end the relationship. SibsForever exists because some bonds transcend physical presence, and every sibling's story deserves to be remembered."

Our Mission
Death doesn't end the relationship
Some sibling relationships were short, while others were long. Some relationships were more complicated than others were. But all sibling relationships deserve to be remembered.
It doesn't matter how old you were when your sibling died or how long ago you lost your sibling. SibsForever is here for you.
So much can be lost and forgotten as time passes. SibsForever.org is where siblings can tell their stories and keep their memories alive with journaling, photography, and video recordings.
